Hi Eric, and everyone. I'm Brandon and I'm so happy to be here. I'm in my fourth year of studying taxidermy and I love hunting deer. No, wait, sorry. That's lyrics from Scissor Sisters. Let me try that again.I really am Brandon (and an obvious Scissor Sisters fan). I have a degree in theology and a career in tech support. Nice combination, eh? I'm never really good at these introduction things. I tend to ramble and make terrible jokes. I did, however, take a moment a post a link to my various online profiles and such in my profile here, so you can go poke around those. Thanks to Eric for getting this up and running. I'm excited about the idea and looking forward to seeing what comes of it. --Brandon 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Hello dears, I'm Tim, I'm a 4th year graduate student at University California, Santa Barbara. I like good music, good discussions, and, even better, good sleep. Probably will post more about myself in a story of me, so I'm not going to spoil it all for you here. ;)One question I've never had satisfactorily answered, so I'll put it out here: if you "win" at a game of solitaire, do you also not "lose"? 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Hello to EVERYONEmy name's JAY and I live in Florida, (the west central part) about 80 miles NorthEast of the Tampa area. Not a student nor do I have an exciting job to tell about. Just about 6 years ago I began to have severe pain in many areas of my body. Any place that could be painful often was and thensome. Eventually I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia- a severe chronic pain syndrome even before diagnosis the life I knew up till early 2003 was forever changed. More later perhaps........ I grew up in a UM church and really havent dealt with many of the LGBT related issues and how they effect "My" life. Anyways, glad to be a part of the Two World Collision......................... Hi All,This is a pretty exciting new project. My name is Ross, and I live in Minneapolis. I tell people that I work for the church, but that's a pretty generic job title. In reality, I'm currently juggling four jobs: I work in Campus Ministry and in tutoring services at a Lutheran College in Minneapolis. I also am the Program Director for a program called The Naming Project. From time to time, I'm also a conference administrator for Lutherans Concerned/North America. I'm teaching a couple classes this fall, and taking some classes as well. That makes me a very busy guy. You may or may not see me, depending on what is happening in my life at the time. I've been impressed with Eric's work, so I think that this is another way that he is able to bring people together. I'm a big supporter of collaborative work. I don't like it when my ministry is in competition with your ministry. I'd rather have our work be mutually exclusive. That's why I support the Catalytic work that's happening here. What else? I guess you can find out more about me as time goes on. Ross 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |
