- A beautifully penned look at the journey of a gay minister on his way to wholeness. A must read!!!!

Steps To Recovery From Bible Abuse- Dr. Rembert Truluck, Chi Rho Press.
- BRILLIANT!!!!!! One of the best written books on the Bible and homosexuality. Dr. Truluck's expertise in Koine Greek and Aramaic are critical to his examination of scripture. No Christian- gay or straight- should be without it!!!

Gay Christian 101: Spiritual Self-Defense for Gay Christians- Rick Brentlinger, Salient Press.
- OUTSTANDING!!!!! Maybe the best researched book on the issue yet!!! Theologically sound and unapologetic in its call for historically informed translation. GET THIS BOOK!!!!!

Openly Gay, Openly Christian: How the Bible Really Is Gay Friendly- Rev. Samuel Kader, Leyland Publications.
- A well-written look at scripture that is used against GLBT folks as well as passages that may be very gay affirming.

The Children Are Free: Reexamining the Biblical Evidence on Same-sex Relationships- Rev. Jeff Miner and John Tyler Connoley, Jesus Metropolitan Community Church.
- One of my personal favorites. An easy to read book that examines scriptures very well while being unintimidating. Wonderfully affirming. Add this to your collection.

The Word Is OUT: Daily Reflections on the Bible for Lesbians and Gay Men- Chris Glaser, Westminster John Knox Press.
- I love this book. 366 days of daily scripture meditations that are affirming and challenging for us as GLBT Christians. Make it a part of your daily routine.

Coming Out As Sacrament- Chris Glaser, Westminster John Knox Press.
- A wonderful look out at the spiritual significance of our coming and living out of the closet.

Gifted By Otherness: Gay And Lesbian Christians in The Church- L. William Countryman and M.R. Ritley, Morehouse Publishing.
- A very self -affirming look at our lives as GLBT folks of faith.

Jesus, The Bible, And Homosexuality: Explode The Myths, Heal The Church- Jack Rogers, Westminster John Knox Press.
- Another wonderfully researched look at the biblical debate surrounding homosexuality from a well respected straight theologian.

Will I Go To Heaven?: The Black Gay Spiritual Dilemma- Tuan N'Gai, Qiana Publishing.
- A look at the struggle with sexuality from the Black Christian perspective.

Black, Gay, and Christian: An Inspirational Guidebook to Daily Living- Herndon L. Davis, Davis,Lett, & Associates LLC.
- A comprehensive resource for many issues confronting African American GLBT Christians.

Lord Given Lovers: The Holy Union of David & Jonathan- Christopher Hubble, iUniverse.
- A great little study that examines the relationship between these biblical heroes. Included are study questions and reflective exercises which are very thought provoking. Don't pass this one up.

The Bible, Christianity, & Homosexuality- Justin R. Cannon, TruthSetsFree.net.
- A great 24 page booklet that does a great job of examining the clobber passages and biblical translation and interpretation.

A Life of Unlearning- Anthony Venn-Brown, New Holland (www.anthonyvennbrown.com)
-The autobiography of a former Pentecostal pastor in Australia, an apparently happily married father-of-two and leader in the Assemblies of God Church, who finally faced the truth and came out as a gay man.
