I identify as (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, straight, whatev, etc.): I am a gay man who has spent most of his life behind closed doors. The best word to describe me is: curious Interests: I recovered from a quadruple by-pass in mid 2007 and so I enjoy walking, etc., as part of my health regimen. I love food but being an insulin dependent diabetic, I have sworn off the stuff particularly those lucious cakes & pastries my sweet tooth craves for. I love to read. Particularly books from the days of wooden ships and iron men. I have a fascination with specific periods of history. For example, I enjoy the period of Alexander, Ghengis Khan, the Duke of Wellington, Nelson, and I have always been fascinated with the late 18th Dynasty of Egypt particularly the Pharoah Akenaten ... I have often wondered (and I am bound to be shot for having this theory) that the beginnings of the Jewish people are, in fact, rooted in those of the Akenatens believers in the one true God (to whom substance and refinement were later added) who escaped out of Egypt after the death of Akenaten and the restoration of the old gods by the advisors to Tut. Anyway, it is just a theory Favorite movies: I love the old movies such as Lion in Winter, etc. Favorite TV shows: Midsummer Murder and other similar mysteries. My hero(es):Winston Churchill My superpower is: my Boss (can't have any more superpowers than Him since he is the source of all power) If I could live anywhere, it would be: Tasmania. I toured it once in the late 70's and fell in love with the place. Unfortunately, I hve not been able to return. My dream job(s): hmmmmmmm, Since I have not worked for any employer in my life longer than 5 years, I am not sure I would know what a dream job really is. But, since I consider myself to be a practical applicator of a theoretical theory, any job in which an idea has to be translated into a practical reality, would for me anyway, be a dream job. What else you should know about me: I have moved from the front of the toboggan to the rear and am enjoying the ride.
