Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

TWC: A Gay & Straight Collaborative Christian CommunityThis is a featured page

We are a collaborative community on a journey together, exploring the clash of colliding worlds - faith and sexuality.

We are a "Community of Heroes," a "Community of Profound Loneliness" and a "Community Familiar With Rejection." We are sometimes called "The Outcasts."

But we are not alone.

Some of us have reconciled our faith and sexuality and have experienced a "cohesion" of these two worlds. Some of us are still figuring it all out. Some of us are straight and have friends on this journey and we're figuring out how to walk with them in it. Either way, where ever we're at - it's okay! We are on this journey together! We are "Journey Christians".

"Coming out" isn't about making your sexuality known. It's about taking steps towards authenticity. It's about fully living out the whole of who you are.

Take the first step.

This is a collaborative community site for gay & straight Journey Christians. What's that? It's an interactive place called a social publishing wiki-site where you can:

  • create a profile and connect with others who choose to see beyond the gay/straight issue.
  • participate in discussion threads in the Forum or on any particular page here.
  • add/edit content directly to the site.

This is literally "our" site! So take care of it.

(Keep an eye out for "To-Do's" at the top of a page - tasks that you can help perform for this site.)

Hey everyone-

I would encourage everyone to visit the updated Catalyst Community website at www.gocatalyst.org. This is our fearless leader Eric's non profit organization. The work they did in the Long Beach area in 2009 was phenomenal!! In June, Catalyst began renting a space that has evolved into an important community center. I would encourage those who can to support the group financially. At this point, everyone is donating their time for no pay. Eric and Ryan have been shouldering the bulk of the money themselves. Please consider donating to help the work continue.

Thanks!!!

After many months of praying and contemplating, a huge life change is upon me!!! On July 5, I will leave my life-long home of Gary, IN to move to Long Beach, CA!!! I am soooo excited!! God is blessing me tremendously!!! I will be leaving school teaching, which I've really wanted to do for some time. I will be establishing my private voice studio. I also want to get back to performing again. I will be sharing a house with my buddy Russ and my 'lil bro', our own fearless leader, Eric!! All of this comes just as I am about to turn 40!!! Such an exciting time!!
